ATEX Directive 94/9/EC is a European directive that came into force on 1st July 2003
The directive covers the design of all products used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
As such, ATEX will impact on numerous industrial sectors and on the equipment that is installed in these areas.
Are you ready for ATEX?
FPL 'One Nut' range can be manufactured in anti-static PTFE and polypropylene, stainless steel, PVC and PVDF, with anti-static diaphragms, balls and seals. All pumps have entirely stainless steel, non-wetted surface casings with the addition of earthing straps and lugs and has been Independently ATEX certified.
ATEX certified FPL 'One Nut' pumps carry the proof of this compliance. Each pump is marked legibly and indelibly with FPL's name and address, the CE mark and number of the notified Body, series or type designation of the pump, specific Ex logo, year of manufacture and serial number.
We have recently been awarded Gas Group II C accreditation as we are now able to supply pumps which can be used in an environment where acetylene and hydrogen are present and where more stringent anti-static regulations apply. Whatever level of compliance required within Gas Group II (ie: A, B or C) we can supply a compliant pump.
You can be sure of ATEX compliance with FPL
